I’ve been sharing my promotional misadventures since 2008 without any attempt to “monetize” my writing.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Unless I wake up one morning with disabling tinnitus, I’m a recording artist first and foremost.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

That said, when I write about a site or service that has an affiliate program, I sign up. I also request a discount for my readers whenever possible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Does it affect what I write? I don’t think so.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

If I have a bad experience with a service, I don’t bother writing about it. Because when I do, more often than not the CEO asks me to remove the post and eventually threatens legal action.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Really. It’s not worth it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
